I am in the process of removal of engine Day 1, along with removal of struts did you have to remove the 3 bolts to release the ball joint for removal of hub assembly from the axle?

Just had this done on my 2007 Camry Hybrid. Took several days just to get the part. Took 3+ days of labor. Total bill, $2,700. I will NEVER buy another HYBRID. This is just one example of my 124k miles.

part number looks like 670b, is that correct ?

did this job yesterday. Found the harness plug in the dash from this video. thanks!! for the comments about reliability…the Lexus I’m doing has 79,000 miles. The nipple on the upper hose broke off and the customer drove it until it quit. it’s got a plastic T in the upper hose. It’s a common failure part. So is the nipple on the radiator itself.

Or the absolute strongest way to place the anchors, is to make a template of baseplate,and bolt the L anchor to the wooden or metal template. For added strength, weld rebar,from one L anchor to another,to form a cage. Then place it when the concrete poured.

You can do the same thing just on lower control arm if your removing the spring itself

Preventive Maintenance is a must. Preventative is no longer used and mitary dropped it many years ago

That control arm angle is horrendous

All you have to do is put a floor jack under the A frame a jack it up to remove the shock and then slowly lower the hack a lot easier and quicker

What is that "CAN BUS sniffer"? Are they used with IDS and the like? Also, did you actually remove all the wheels from the shop? I feel like grabbing some broken TPMS's you have laying around (or am I the only one who keeps physically broken TPMS sensors for diag?) and training those..... You know where I'm going...

Any codes for the solenoid? Another thought is oil pressure is bypassing the valve or crossbleeding so it's always pressurizing the lock pin "pathway". Check the vanes or lobes well, those phasers can be tricky as the oil "adheres" 2 machined faces together so it could be broken off but it will still stay in place making you none the wiser! (Seen it on a Toyota but the only issue I have dealt with GM variable timing is the solenoids....... A LOT!)
